if so, describe the scene.

p.s. don`t bother to describe it if you woke up in the moment when you died

A couple of years ago I had a dream that someone shot me in the back of the head. In the dream, I felt the bullet enter me but, it wasn't painful. I felt a warm wet sensation as blood ran down the back of my neck. I fell face first to the ground. Everything went black. There was no pain. There was no panic. There was no anger over being shot. Everything was very calm, peaceful and comfortable. I remember after a couple of seconds thinking, well I'm dead now what? My body was dead but, my soul and my thoughts weren't. I awoke at that point.

Is that what you're looking for? I've always wanted to share this story but, never really had the chance to explain it. Thanks.

I remember dreaming that I died in a bad fall off a cliff. someone was chasing me and I ran to the edge and looked over. I stopped and did not know what to do. Then I lost my balance and I did not have a choice I was falling through the air looking down at the rocks. I always seem to wake up before I hit the ground.

I hear that dreaming that you died is a release dream. You are supposed to get over your fears by working them out.
But sometimes the dream is meant to bring you notice that something in your life is not good. Like you need to quite your job or get divorced or find a new life. The dream takes you to death so that you release the old ways and then you are free to bring in the new.

Read "the book of dreams" by Silvia Browne. It is the best I have found on the subject.

I once dreamed that I was an owl and flyed over a very far distance and I found myself in a battle were I saw my family members were fighting in... I saw my sister get hit by an arrow and fell on the ground... I automatically wished I could help her and all the sudden I changed in to a warrier with a sword which had some sort of writing on it... it seemed so familier and I felt that I knew what the writtings on the sword mean. I along with the members of my family died in that battle... it was a wierd dream... but every scene felt very oddly familier to me as if I knew this was going to happen exactly the way the events occure...

not that i can remember
but i have had several dreams were i know i am asleep in bed and i want to open my eyes and start to think that I'm dead and that is really horrible
sometime halfway through a dream i can realize it is a dream and I'm more relaxed so i have been able to go and do what i want
this may not sound true and when i have told certain people they have not believed me
i am not the only person that this happens too
certain people can do this by will
it just happens too me occasionally
sometimes its scary and sometimes its nice
but its always vivid either way

I have had a dream that I died. But I wasn't myself. I was someone else watching me. It was in a battle of some sort. When everything calmed down. Who ever I was walked over and looked at the corpse of yours truly. It was really weird.

Yes, it was horrible. I was in an old car, someone was driving it, the car stopped in an alley and I saw two men with guns, I opened the car door to get out and they started shooting and they hit me in the chest. I felt the impact, and could feel warm blood running down my face (I was lying upside down). I felt no pain but was really scared, then I died. I remeber seeing my body in the car with my head resting on the street in a pool of my own blood.

I had a dream a many years ago that I was in a casket and people were talking about me but I couldn't move and tell them that I could hear them. I guess I was dead or at least everyone there thought I was dead in my dream. I didn't dream that I died...I dreamed that I was dead and at my wake.

My mother, father and brother also dreamed many years ago that I was dead and in a casket but isn't it funny that they are all dead and I am not. Everyone was worried that I was about to die and that they were having premonitions...NOT...they are dead...I am very much alive. Dreams are just dreams.

I have had this recurring dream of being at my funeral. The actual death is never in the dream but my funeral is held at a bank and my obituary is blue. I keep trying to make sense of it. All I can get from it is the fact that I used to work at a bank and my favorite color is blue.
