Most women first feel the baby move around 16-20 weeks. At 13 weeks the baby is still too small for her to feel its movements. :)

Dont worry your wife shouldnt be feeling baby kicks this early anyways. First time mothers to be dont feel there babys kick until at least 20 weeks. Second and third time moms will feel there baby kick usually at the earliest 14-16 weeks. I am 11 weeks with my 3rd and havent felt my baby move yet. If u heard the heartbeat even if it was once your baby is fine. Dont worry and dont stress about it,she will feel the baby move in due time. Just be patient. Congratulations and hope u get the girl u want! =)

Good God man, 13 weeks??? The baby is only the size of a pea pod. You won't feel any kicking until around 25 to 30 weeks. In fact I'm surprised she's even showing yet. Normally women don't tell anyone other than family until after the 4th month (20 weeks).

Not many women have ever felt fetal movement less than about 16 weeks & sometimes it's hard to hear a fetal heartbeat before 13-14 weeks. Most women don't feel movement until around 20 weeks or more. Don't worry as what you are saying sounds very normal. Chill & enjoy!

She may not feel the baby move for a few weeks. The heart beat if on doppler may not be felt until an ultrasound is done. Go to the doctor for both of you so you feel better. I hope this helps. I am thirteen weeks and go for an ultrasound. They didn't hear the heartbeat but the baby is good.

hi-remember every woman, baby and pregnancy is different
she may not feel the baby at all until 20+ weeks.
same thing with heartbeat-- for a lot of people the doctor cant even find it until around 12-15 weeks.
has she had an ultrasound?
as long as everything is ok with the u/s--there is nothing to worry about.
if this is her first baby-it's very hard to determine what the baby movements are.
& if you got one of those prenatal heart beat monitors--they wont work until the end of pregnancy.

I bet a visit to the doctor will assure you both that everything is ok.

Normally the mother won't feel the baby move until 4/5 months and at first may not realize its the baby. Other people may start to feel the baby move after 5 months. As long as the doctor can hear a heartbeat I wouldn't be concerned.

WAY to early to feel baby moving. It is only a bean. If you heard the heart beat via Ultra sound don't worry about it. Some women don't feel the baby move until as late as 22 weeks. Relax, nothing to worry about.

I didn't feel my baby until i was 20 weeks. 13 weeks is a little early to be feeling the baby already. Hang in there, she will soon say, "i wish this baby would quit moving.." I promise.

Early movements ' like butterfly flutters ' can be felt as early as 14 or 15 weeks, although most women feel movement around weeks 18-20
