if so, describe the scene.

p.s. don`t bother to describe it if you woke up in the moment when you died

I was at a roller disco (I know, strangely oldskwl) everyone there had a knife (it seemed the normal thing to have at the time) I was skating round and tripped slighlty and caught my friends shoulder with my knife.

I stepped backwards and apologised, thinking nothing of it. As i did, his face changed, he was brutally angry, i fell backwards with fear and he dived ontop of me, he plunged his knife into my chest many times, i lay there, looking at myself, bleeding everywhere and slowly felt colder and colder.

All of a sudden i was dead, i cant describe how i know, but i do, it felt like nothing and evrything at the same time.

When i woke up, i was in shock, it felt like i had been dead for weeks, the feeling was obscure, there are no words to describe it. Eversince then, if im ever in any kind of danger or fear, that dream comes back to me and reminds me of the feeling.

I know I probably sound quite insane, but i hope that helped you.

Yes. I was racing down some stairs with a whole bunch of super villains (yeah weird, I know) and we were all trying to reach the downstairs which led to an exit from the building we were trapped inside. The room at the bottom was actually my old living room, only enormous. The ceiling was like 50 feet high. At the same time, it was arranged with all the same furniture as was my living room at the time, but the furniture was all normal size (again weird, I know).

I decided to beat them all by jumping off of the side of the staircase down to the floor below. I jumped way up into the air and then saw I was headed right for the corner of the coffee table down below. My forehead head smashed into one of the table's corners that was sticking out, and everything went from a white explosion to a fade to black.

Then, while everything was still black, I could hear church bells tolling. And then I heard two voices. One said, "Is he dead." The other guy said, "Of course he is!" And then I woke up. It was one of the most vivid dreams I ever had.

Yes. I was laying on the floor and my husband was holding my hand. Then suddenly I was speeding up toward the sky like a rocket and there was this huge amazing voice all around me. I couldn't understand it, but it was deep and loud and I could feel it vibrating through me. That was when I woke up. A pretty strange dream for an agnostic to have I guess, since I don't really believe that there is anything after death. (I don't really believe that there isn't either though. I figure that we'll all find out sooner or later so why waste precious time worrying about it now?)

Yes. I have died every way possible. I even dreamed that I was glass and if you talked to loud I would shatter.I was acting out my death as sleep walking, talking and screaming. I was 8. Even sleeping pills didn't work.

The mind is a funny animal. It will block out things you can not handle and sometimes those memories pop out in your dreams. Turns out that is exactly what happened to me. I was shot in my butt when I was 1 and witnessed many deaths until I was 5. My Father was a heroin dealer in New York City in the 6o's.

As soon as my mother told me the stories, the dreams stopped. I still don't remember that time but as long as a talk about it once in a while, I can keep the dreams at bay.

Yes I did years ago. I dreamt I was in a green kombi van with my son and my nephew, and we crashed. It was terrible, I could hear the sounds of the car crunching and crashing. I felt the moment I was crushed and died. In the dream/nightmare, after I died, aside from an incredible roaring sound in my ears, I felt empty and desolate. I looked at my nephew who had also died, then I wasn't in the van anymore but, nowhere. It was horrible. I awoke after I had died, not at the moment I died, perspiring badly. But that was all. I've never forgotten it though. Since then my nephew has died, but not from a car accident.

Yes. A few times. A lot of people have falling dreams, but wake up before they hit bottom. I hit. I used to have recurring dreams of dying in a house fire. And one more, I dreamt that I was shot point blank in the chest.

I in no way used to, then my perfect pal change into killed in a smash by a inebriated. I dream alot now, and likely, i have considered my own lack of life in dreaming. I dream I did also in a smash, a black suv is in touch, I see them loading me onto a stretcher and a helicopter taking me away yet i'm already useless. I see my husband and my youngsters crying even as my husband hugs our son and holds our daughter. earlier the dream is over, my Dad commits suicide. I easily have even considered my own funeral in desires earlier or perhaps those desires, it truly is a double funeral, me and dad. You tell me, is it a dream or a preminition? i have had those desires a minimum of 6 cases considering my pal died 2 years in the past and after I awaken from them I consistently have a moist pillow from crying. human beings imagine i'm crasy i wager, yet those desires are so actual that they even scare me. And sure, in the journey that your questioning, it does keep me up maximum nights, many of the time i can't even nod off. I omit my pal undesirable. wish this allows.

Your question may involve a few psychological theory. To make the long story short i will do it like this:
1 dreams are not random ,instead are very much linked and connected to what you experience in the daily life
2 being a immortal human-being you can not put end of your life
2a in any circumstances u can end your existence
3 dreams can be remembered but when told....are a little twisted compared to what you really dreamed
That's why i think that u can't dream that you die!
PS: those theory are very hard to verify....maybe impossible to reach a conclusion!

I dreamt I was hit by a car, and then went to my funeral. I spent the rest of the dream sitting on the couch, wondering how I was going to cope with being dead.

It was floating over pure white marble floors with deep mahagony bannisters all around me. Before I woke up I literally felt my essence or soul tear its way back into my body.
