That they had put some thought into Christianity and while they liked Christ, they were able to see that he is not always best displayed through his followers. I think it is an accurate and intelligent viewpoint.

As a Christian, I understand why someone might feel that way. Just because someone says they are a Christian, does not mean they are exemplifying Christ. We are to love one another, that does not mean we will always "like" the actions, personality, or behaviors of everyone.

Many people in Church will not be saved. This includes preachers, pastors, and some who have been attending church or embracing religion for years. This is why people should not avoid a personal relationship with God, because of the actions of imperfect humans, or by what they see in the Church...Christian or not. There are plenty of imperfect sinners in Church. That is where they are supposed to be.

Most of that statement is true. Jesus spoke frequently of hypocrite. A lot of people are judgmental when Christ paid the prize for our mistakes.
