For the sake of this question, let's pretend they'll keep T. Jackson on the bench next year, who might we go after?

Oh, yeah, there is zero chance of Brad Johnson coming back, so I was looking more for free agent names...

Brad Johnson is not good enough to be a starter anymore, and rumor has it that he's going somewhere where he will have the chance to start. Childress has mentioned that he will be sticking with either Brooks Bollinger or Tarvaris Jackson. But, there are many quarterbacks in the draft this year. We'll have to wait to see who falls down to the seventh pick. Although, the draft needs at wide receiver far outweigh the need for a quarterback. Also, you need to consider what veterans will be available. There is a lot of grumbling coming from Jacksonville that says Byron Leftwich won't be the starter next season. Also, Jake Plummer (as crappy as he can be) may also be available as he has effectively been usurped by Jay Cutler. But, for either of those two to come here, Zygi Wilf would actually have to do something.

I say Jackson. I don't think they will use their #7 Rd. 1 pick on a QB since their receivers weren't great at all and their D-Line was really weak (at least for the games I watched of the Vikings). Maybe they draft one Rd.4-5?

If they do that, we'll see a battle for #1 on the depth chart during training camp between Jackson, Johnson, and whoever they will draft.

As for free agency, I'm not sure what the GM is looking for. Maybe Bledsoe, maybe Matt Schaub who will be a free agent (he looks good for many teams), and also possibly Tim Rattay who will also be a free agent.

I say joe webb because of the fact before everything, he has the size, athleticism, velocity and arm capability. that facilitates him to be effective mutually as studying a thank you to play the situation. Philly spent the finished interest watching Webb sidestep his bypass rush and turn sacks into useful yardage. Secondly, he confirmed something in his first start up that tavaris Jackson never fairly confirmed in 5 seasons: he's have been given a experience for the situation and he won't get harm every time he's touched.
