I'm so fed up of xbox when it comes to playing driving games cos you have to press R to accelerate!! anyone who has ever played racing games knows that A should be to accelerate or playstation-wise X should be. I just bought burnout 4 and there is no option to change the controls. I think every game should allow u to chose your own controls. what do you think???

I like using the R button. It's good because usually the brake would be the L button. With the R button being accelerate, I can use my thumb for other things when in the case of A being accelerate, I would not be able to use my thumb for anything but accelerate without taking my thumb away from the A button.

I agree that Xbox is an annoying piece of ****, but that's not exactly what justifies it. I've been playing racing games with shoulder buttons since the days of sega saturn and I find it quite a comfy configuration. You're just being whiny.

get used to having the R trigger has your accelorator. On PS2 they didn't have triggers that is y they used X instead. the PS3 is using triggers too. It makes it way more realistic. if you actually like racing get Project Gothom Racing. It is the best racing game on Xbox.

I thought it would be easier having the trigger act as the accelerator because it's more real life. When you step hard on the paddle, you speed up like crazy, and when you barely step on the accelerator, you barely speed up. Same with the trigger button. If you hold it down, you speed up faster, and if you barely touch it, you barely speed up.

triggers rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! amazing for any game wheter racing or shooting, as you can vary the pressure, rather than just being the button.
btw the PS3's R2 and L2 arent triggers like the 360, they are still buttons, but have attempted to make the buttons longer so they look like triggers LOL. They are so uncomfy and rubbish to use.

i agree with ??? the controls rock out loud. but you should be able to change it as i dont like some of the controls that are pushed upon us.
