Hahaha... I would do anything! I hate awkward silences! Usually I just end up repeating whatever that person said as a question.
Or I say a very delayed "what?"
LOL.. i'm bad at those.
Oh yeah, and some of my old friends and I would always say "Abramham Lincoln" at awkward moments!

The awkward turtle, definately. Place one hand directly on top of the other, palms either both up or both down. Rotate your thumbs forward in a circular motion, mimicking a turtle's swimming motions. Move the hands towards the person who is the source of the awkwardness, and say "The awkward turtle is going to EAT YOU!!"
