Imagine i have a capacitor of capacitance 100uF.Capacitance is nothing but the energy or charge it can store. But my capacitor
fails to work after some time, and i threw it off. If E=MC2 IS correct, it must have the same capacitance and must not fail with time.Could you plz explain me the hidden mystery?.......

This formula proposes that when a body has a mass (measured at rest), it has a certain (very large) amount of energy associated with this mass. This is opposed to the Newtonian mechanics, in which a massive body at rest has no kinetic energy, and may or may not have other (relatively small) amounts of internal stored energy (such as chemical energy or thermal energy), in addition to any potential energy it may have from its position in a field of force. That is why a body's rest mass, in Einstein's theory, is often called the rest energy of the body. The E of the formula can be seen as the total energy of the body, which is proportional to the mass of the body.

ENERGY = MASS x (Speed of light in a vacuum) squared !!

According to the equation, the maximum amount of energy "obtainable" from an object to do active work, is the mass of the object multiplied by the square of the speed of light.

E=mc^2 has nothing to do with capacitance. It states that the energy of a partical is equivalent to it's mass multiplied by the square of the speed of light. Capacitance relates to charge, not mass or energy.

Your capacitor probably failed because it was not a perfect device. Physical equations describe the laws of physics as they stand, independent of real world conditions such as friction, material resistances etc. Designing a device purely with physical equations, especially the wrong ones, is destined for failure as real world conditions will alter it's operation.

Everything fails with time.

Capacitors store electric charge, and they leak. Old capacitors leak faster.

What you might not understand is that potential energy is stored in capacitors by creating a surplus of positive electric charge and a surplus of negative electric charge on either side of the mylar sheet separating them. It's not unlike clouds with electric charge that's ready to strike lightning towards the ground. When capacitors are leaking, it's kind of like very tiny lightning strikes which reduces the surpluses of the electric charge on both sides. There is no change in total mass of the capacitor.
