Aren't most lesbians really bi-sexuals who just tend to favor women over men because of bad experiences they had with males in childhood and/or adolescence? I've talked to several "lesbians" and done some research that indicates that this is true. What do you think?

In other words, do you think it is rare for someone to be 100% lesbian?

From my experience, more lesbians have been previously married than their male counterparts; however, that does not mean that they are currently bi-sexual. If a woman labels herself as lesbian, believe her, that is what she most likely is.

In previous generations being openly lesbian was more difficult, and then there is the natural desire to have children added to that, and previously it was more difficult for a woman to make a living; so these arguments are more than enough for me to understand why so many more lesbians were married previous to coming "out".

Many, if not most of males previously married did so because of family, cultural and peer pressure as well. Few men who have been married are now bi, either. If people choose to label themselves as gay, believe them. They will say if they are going to label and want that of a bi.

Arrrgh! Arrgh! Arrgh! I am a big old dyke, I was born that way and have never had a bad experience with a man in my life! I loved my dad more than anybody in the world! Why the hell do people who aren't lesbians make up theories about lesbians!

Bisexual is an orientation, not lifestyle. So yes, she would still be bisexual regardless of who she marries. "But, if she never again has sex with another woman, how is she bi-sexual?" Lol. Just because you don't have sex doesn't mean the attraction isn't there. Ima virgin and I still know I like guys!

No, absolutely not. That's like saying most straight women are really lesbian, they just have "intimacy issues with other women." The logic sounds good until you look at it. Think of it this way:

Cats are pets. Dogs are pets. Therefore cats are dogs.
or
Dogs have four legs, cows have four legs, therefore dogs and cows are the same.

FAULTY LOGIC.

I'll notice if a guy is well presented, but I'd have no interest in dating him. Guys are great friends to me, but I only love females. I disagree that lebians are bisexuals who fear male intamacy.

Nope. Both a Biased and Bigoted statement. That would make about as much sense as saying YOU are gay but don't know it yet, you just haven't had the right man.

no they just like woman better than men ,no bad experience or anything like that. I have been deceived by woman more than once , that doesn't make me want to have sex with a man.

This may be the case with some. However, many have absolutely *no* interest nor attraction to males.

Nope... I am very very happy being born a lesbian and not a bi woman.

No. But, most women probably tell YOU that they're lesbians in hopes that you'll just leave them alone.
