AP) Pink, the Grammy Award-winning singer known for her single, "Get the Party Started," has recorded the opening music for "NBC Sunday Night Football."
"We chose Pink as the signature voice because she is a tremendous talent with a crossover appeal that makes her relevant to all segments of our audience," said Fred Gaudelli, who will produce the Sunday night broadcasts for NBC.
Pink has created "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," set to Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You," with new lyrics, NBC said Wednesday.

Because Hank Jr. is taken and networks already know that fans don't like Tim McGraw doing the intro for games. For some reason that I don't understand, it has to be done by a country artist.

She had a hit single a while back called "Stupid Girls" that bashed people like Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Jessica Simpson. She's a animal rights activists, and I think she's married to that motocross dude Carry Hart. I love Pink; she's so awesome.
