people always call me cute and i'm sick of it. I'm 16 and look 12. how can i look older w/o looking skanky and unfashtionable.
also what do i do when ppl (like my "friends") use to word cute to be condesending and mean

makeup. go for either a dramatic eye or lip, not both. if youre short wear heels, and maybe a padded bra if your small in that area too.
and if people give you S about being 'cute' just roll with it. If someone goes, "oh youre so cute" in a way meant to hurt your feelings, dont let it. Just say something like "I know" and smile. Once they realize it doesnt bother you they might have to think up better disses.

Get extensions if you have short hair. Believe me it helps so much. If you're fair skinned, get a light tan. Not too dark, just a little bit of color, because fair skin is a sign of infancy. Infancy isn't really a good word for it, but yeah. If you have curly hair, straighten it. If you have freckles, wear a light foundation so that they still show through, but aren't as clear. Don't wear pink lipstick or lipgloss. Go for a browner color.

wear more casual clothes, stop wearing prep clothes like hollister or abercrombie if you already do. try wet seal or forever 21. if you put your hair up leave it down you will look a lot more mature. and just act more confient.

when you go shopping and the sales person comes to ask if you need any help with anything, just tell them your problem and ask for their opinion on what clothes you should buy.

start smoking it makes you look older thats what i did cause i was in the same situation as you and it worked.
