I think you make the most profit off of unique and antique items. Ebay specializes in having the most unusual items. I love to go on there and look for old childhood toys and collectables.
There are three ways to go about selling on Ebay.
The first way is to make a large profit on each individual sale. This means you need to have a unique item that people want to buy and are willing to pay more money for. For Example: - Vintage clothing - Jewerly - Antiques - Collectables - Art - Cars - Etc
The second way is to make a small profit on lots of sales like DVDs - CDs - Used Clothing - Toys - Old Electronics - etc.
The third way is to make your own product. If you know how to knit, sew, print, or make any kind of crafts, there is a huge market for it on Ebay.
The best thing to do is to search ebay and browse around and see what has the most bids. Then you'll get an idea of what sells the best. :)

Ebay.. the name spell success. It is a big business having multi billions dollars of tranaction happening in a year. There are countless person having a earning of 6 figure income. And of course many others having a regular income varying netween $500-$5000 per month. There are many persons, who has taken up this as a career but dropped it because they did not feel as an opportunity due to some or the other reason.
