u have 3 light switches down stairs there is 1 light up stairs u can not c the light unless u go up stairs and u can only go up stairs 1 time witch light switch is it

The one upstairs? You didn't say the switch for the upstairs light was downstairs, you only said there were 3 switches down stairs. The one for the upstairs is upstairs. Why would it be anywhere else?
