I met "J" online about 2 or 3 months b4 we met. He came home on leave. (military) Drove 2 hrs to see me, stayed the night and it was great. We kept in constant contact over the next few wks. Last time i spoke w/ him, (he called around Nov. 16th) he said that he just had a few minutes to talk, he was going to post. Then i got an email from him on Nov 26th saying that he missed me but he was working hard. I havent heard from him since. His phone is disconnected, email no longer available. I understand that these things can happen when a person is in the military. Am I just freaking out for no reason? He says we are more than friends, and he asked me to think about moving to S.C. 2 b with him. I would love some feedback on this one. I am assuming it is normal not to hear from him, @ least for a while.

Don;t assume anything other than he probably really did want u to move .How easy that would b then 4 u 2 to get to know each other because on line ha, ha , u really don't know them. Follow your heart though . U never know where it may take u...If he really cares he'll find u.

It sounds like he was looking for sex. If you had sex with him on the first and only night you met him in person, you can't know that you really know the real him. People can say anything online. For all you know, he is married or already in a relationship--or was just looking to get laid.
I would think if he is still alive, he would be able to contact you. Of course I don't know much about the military. As far as moving to be near him, it sounds very premature to even be thinking about it. If he comes back, get to know him before making any life changing decisions.

Sorry to say this Mam, but he got what he was after, and is now most likely using the same "line" on another woman. If he wanted to contact you, he could have done it in the last 6 weeks. Being former military myself, although I never did it, I know how some of them do. They'll say ANYTHING to get what they want, then when they do, they're gone....after the next victim. Move on! He's gone!!
