My GF & I non custodial parent went to go pick up my other two kids from a past relationship in which I have joint custody and visitation. The custodial parent brings the kids to my car & she starts trying to argue with my GF in front of the kids. About 6 of her family member come out side and attack my GF and I verbally and physically in front of the kids. My GF and I got the kids in the car and call the police to file a report. Court order states that I am suppose to pick the kids up from non-custodial parent, I have third party relative that agreed to have the kids dropped off with them so I can pick them up without seeing non off her family. I am going to get a lawyer &have a motion to change visitation conditions for a 3rd party, but the court date won’t be by the next time I have to pick my kids up again. I am refusing to pick them up and going against court orders because my safety is at stake. What can I do?

Do Not refuse to pick you kids up.
This will go against you and make you an unfit father.
Pick them up and have things be as normal as you can. Get the other things worked out with you lawyer but, DO NOT REFUSE YOUR KIDS!!

don't cut your visitation off from your children. Contact the Police or Sherriff in your area and request them meet you at the pick up point for your children. Make sure a report is on file of there escort and supervision of the transfer of the children to your care. Once you get to court you can have a MOTION for an ORDER OF PROTECTION filed to protect you against such disturbances!!....

Maybe you should leave the GF at home when dropping off or picking up your children.

You need to submit to the courts a petition to modify visitation ---and when you show them your police report indicating the need for a Police or Sherriff escort as a means of safety for yourself as well as your children the judge more than likely will grant your motion.

If you are that afraid file for the Order of Protection for your own safety and sanity!

file a police report against those people first.
then on your next scheduled visition, call the police to see about a police escort.
they should do this w/no problems given the past history of these fools.
i say that only because of them doing such stuff infront of CHILDREN! my god, what is the matter w/them!!!
good luck on your battle too.sounds like you're going to need it.
