I have a class on Mon/Wed that meets from 2-5 and I hate the professor and it's not that it is gonna be boring, but it's just going to be annoying and difficult. Any tips?

Just hang in there - pay attention and pass the class. Time moves fast - cherish it - because, before you know it you'll be an old fossil like me.

Why don't you sit and ponder how fortunate you are to be getting such an education! Or...why don't you drop out so someone else who really wants one will have a chance? Maybe instead of a white collar worker...you will end up on the streets eating out of garbage cans. Be more grateful for the opportunities that you are blessed with.

drop the class before it counts on your record or before you lose half or all the tuition see if you can get into a similar class (that fits your schedule )with a different instructor, at my school we usually have some time to change our minds and drop the lousy class and get into another class with a more likeable teacher, one that isn't so boring and dull, sometimes if the class is full you can talk to that instructor and they may allow you to enroll,(they often will go a seat or two over) the instructor signs off and once the dean of that division the class is in signs off on it your in..its not as big a deal as it sounds, its done all the time

You can do your best to make it interesting and fun. Team up with some classmates and form a study group to get past the difficult stuff, and it'll be less annoying. Reward yourselves by going out for ice cream or pizza together after class.

Can you tape it and zone out listening to your i-pod or doodle or something? Then just listen up to study for any required tests on the subject matter later. It seems like you don't want to be involved in any way, shape or form with this whole thing, so feining interest or attempting to get involved in class discussions, if there are any, won't cut it for you.

Create an entire world in which you live, a very fantastical one will be best, and visualize the creation of such a place (perhaps a private island). Create friends there with which you interact, create plots/problems for those characters and how you will help me, then see yourself interacting with them. Just go to this place when you are bored to insanity.

Be prepared in advance for each class and ask a lot of questions so the hours will go by more quickly...
