Why do people compare Aeropostale, A&F, AE, & Hollister?

Question

What's the big deal here? They are all clothes, and why do people care so MUCH about whether it is Aero or AF or AE or Hollister. Why be so picky about brands?

And I think it sucks how there are people who say HORRIBLE things about another brand.

I'm just wondering cause everyone's asking which is better than which. Thanks!

Those brands have different price ranges. Aeropostale and AE are kind of expensive, Hollister is expensive, and A&F is REALLY expensive.

With girls, it can be like a competition, who has the shirt that cost the most.

And, with those brand names, the shirt can look horrible! However, as long as it has a little eagle, seagull, or moose someplace on it, it's instantly amazing.

I think people compare these so much because we're all teenagers. I, as being a teenager, believe that we compare brands becasuse we want to know which will be better price wise and on the cuteness factor. Sometimes, we compare stuff just to be seeing what other people will be saying. Just like I think Aero is better because its cheaper, and has the same clothes as everybody else. So, if you ask me I think its just Teenagers being Teenagers!

I feel the same way u do!! ITS JUST CLOTHING!! I am not into name brand clothing much I just go out and find the BEST deals on clothes!! And if I happen to find a AeroPostale, American Eagle, Hollister, A&F clothes on sale(CHEAP) I will buy it!!

people compare them because they are all similar styles-preppy
im picky about brands because hollister clothes fit me perfectly
aeropostale has weird sizing and american eagle stuff is usally too baggy and i dont like the style as much. abercrombie is wayy too expensive. who cares if people say bad things about another brand. the stores make plenty of money, they dont care if a few people dont like it. you obviously dont care that much about your clothes

I agree with Whoaa Fresh. Its all expensive garbage. People are paying lots of money for crap now a days. It seems the trashier they dress the better they think they look and the people that work there are also dressed like garbage. People are spending a lot of money to "dress down" Do they really have to dress like that impress anyone???

most people i know who wear abercrombie, ae, OR hollister, don't even step inside Aeropostale. they want to know what the 'in' thing is. they all look fine to me. i love ae the best.

i like aeropostale the best, it's super cheap, but it's not high on the name brand list
ae is cool, you can find clearence there really cheap
hollister is the same as abercrombie, just that hollister is on the west coast and abercrombie is on the east. they range about the same price.

People are some what vain and finicky these days about which brand they wear. I think they just want to wear the style that's "in".

They all suck. Fruit of the Loom is better quality and is so much cheaper.
