What is the average weight of a t-ball bat?

Please don't say have him hold it perpendicular to himself and see if he can hold it there for 30 seconds...he doesn't have that long of an attention span!

I coach T-Ball, I wasnt sure so I got the bats out. They range from 20-25oz.

any bat in which the kid can actually hit the ball its not like in t-ball to many kids can field i would go 17-18 oz
