He was a a born leader, but not very bright. He was only clever.
(that´s about all)
His attack on Russia on June 1941 as well as his declaration of war on the USA the same year, was a mistake a 15 year old average American student would NOT have made.

He was able to get Germany out of the Great Depression very quickly, but then he went crazy!

Hitler was a genius. No doubt about that, but unfortunately he chose to not use it well.

He had unfortunate charisma (for Jews, Polaks, and other non-Germans).
I like his paintings. They're really good.
"He avoided assassination at least 17 times." That takes talent.
-Other than that, he's pretty terrible.

That he was not a German. He was Austrian. I can be proud to say that I am not of the same heritage as he.
