i have one and i dont want to feed it just hamster food.

Vegetables and fruit are good for the hamster, but lettuce has no real nutritional value and in excess can cause liver problems.

Grain, rice, noodles (dry), dry peas and lentils are good food ideas too.

Yes they can. but remember the following:

-Don't feed them to much or he might get a tummy ache, you'll know If you've fed him to much, his stool will be discolored
-STAY AWAY from citris fruits like oranges and and lemons
I have had hamsters/guinea pigs six years and I have found out that they like:
-strawberries
-blueberries
-dandilion leaves
-cucombers
-carrots
-apples
