Of course you can have a happy life on your own. Being independent might be the most enjoying thing if live, No worries, no commitment...
But some day you will need the support that only someone who Loves you can give you...then you ask yourself this question again.
You may have 1000s of friends, but Not 1 will ever really care the way your lover will. Not a single one...

Yes, people can be perfectly happy being single if that's what the person really wants. The way you should look at it is that they're two completely different ways of life, there are certain things you can experience being single that you couldn't if you were in a relationship, and vice versa. Personally, I prefer being in a relationship, they can be very stressful at times, especially mine being in a long distance relationship currently, but when it's great, it's bloody fantastic.

Absolutely. If you genuinely don't need a partner, it's best not to have one. That way, you can focus completely on your personal fulfillment. My life would literally be ruined if I didn't stay single.

Now I cant imagine my life without my missus and my two kids.
No amount of `single `time compares to being woke up every morning by 2 crazy kids and cuddling the one you love,

BUT we all need people. We are not solitary beings.
There is no law that says you must be hitched up to become a whole person.
