I just turned 15, and I also just got my period (yes, I know I'm extremely late..) But the bad thing is, I'm still really short, like around 5' 1" and nearing 5' 2". I definitely don't think I got my growth spurt yet, but I already got my period and I the typical growth spurt is before one get their period. In fact, growth slows down once one gets their period. So is it possible I missed mine?

Creb, 15 is not all that late to get your period, in fact it is a good sign....even drs...are a bit confused by why 9 year olds are starting periods these days...
Most likely you haven't grown yet either...my son was a sophmore in college when he got his, he was always the shortest and now is 6'2"....besides, in a world full of gigantic women, being petite would be great, it would make you stand out plus any guy you want to go out will be shorter!!!!!! Like who and what yo are...!!!!!

Since when does growth slow down once you get your period? If there were true think of how many short women there would be in High School as many girls get their period as young as 10 or 11 now a days. You still have time to grow although you might be at full height. Only time will tell. There is nothing wrong with being petite.

in case your 16 don't experience undesirable in case you at the instantaneous are not growing to be really! you probable received't have any more desirable advance "spurts". you'll likely improve more desirable slowly and continually now so that's going to likely be a lot less major. between now and adulthood you may basically improve yet another a million or 2 inches! the basically authentic thanks to omit your advance spurt is that if you're very undernourished and your body can not keep up advance yet except you reside in a third international united states of america and eating 1/2 somewhat of bread once each and every 4 day that's not likely! Growthm "spurts" frequently happen between a at the same time as 10 and 14

You can continue to grow until around 18 but mostly your growth has slowed down an probably won't et much taller, I stopped growing at 14 and got my period when I was 13.

maybe you'll just stay that way. Some girls I know don't even break the 5' mark and they're fully developed. I'm not really sure about the whole thing because everybody grows at different rates. I didn't start growing till I was 14, then I shot up each year after that. I wouldn't be too concerned about height because I said MAYBE you'll stay at your current height.

Growth has nothing to do with when you have your first period. Be patient, maybe you'll grow more, look at your parents, and specially grandpas, are they tall? you could expect to grow close to their heights or even taller. You stop growing until 18 or sometimes older, 21 or 22

some people just don't get them and others get a lot of them. in my school there's people ranging from like 4' 6 to 6' 6 and these are people about 15-16. either way you'll have to just deal with your height because its not something you can change.
