I dont want to send him off to anyone, so where can I find info on repairing and keeping him looking good myself?? Help me please

If he truly is antique (over 100 years old) he really should go to a professional seamstress to be repaired. You wouldn't want to do more harm than good. If you have a museum nearby you should contact them and they can tell you where to go to have him repaired.

Just look for antique teddy bear repair in a search engine. They should have etheir kits or steps that you can repair the bear yourself. and if they give you someone make sure they do a good job on it so that the bear wont lose any value to it
