I have to mail 17 pages somewhere, but I can't make it to the post office to find out how many stamps it needs. So could you give me an estimate, please? They are the regular sheets of paper (8 1/2 x 11 i think it is). Thanks!

Usually standard paper weighs up to 5 pages per ounce, so you'd have four ounces in pages. Then you need to add in the weight of the envelope, which for a standard clasp-type envelope adds about one ounce more, for a total of five ounces. The 5-ounce rate is $1.35. I'd probably put $1.59 (6 ounce rate) on it to be sure, as it could be delayed if it's underpaid and 24c really isn't much money.

I would say around 1.20.. Hard to know for sure without a weight. But I mail papers all the time, and 10-14 usually costs me 87 cents..
