If it's the big stone looking square guy, let him fall, jump on top of him and do a ground pound jump, do this three times and he's beat.

First you need to get close to it then just before its about to fall get out of the way the whomp whomp well be in the floor. You well see a white x on his back jump on top of him and den do that sit pond thing on the x and you will damage him keep doing that until you defeat him.

go near him to make him jump up and slam on the ground. when hes in the air, quickly move out of the way. when hes squirming on the ground, ground pound his back. do this three successful times and you will defeat him.
