there is no question that osama bin laden (who is saudi by birth) and the saudi arabian nation as a whole are responsible for the 9/11attacks.

if saudi arabia had produced one or two of the 9/11 attackers i could overlook the obvious - but they produced 15 of 19 hijackers.

this means that the culture at large in that nation approved of what was happening.

saudi arabia is a terrorist breeding center - they have also been called the 'epicenter' of funding of worldwide terror (by National Public Radio).

Directly, Osama bin Laden and his buddies in al Qaeda are responsible for 9/11. Indirectly, a whole slew of incompetent morons are responsible. You be the judge of who those people are.

It is still mostly believed that it was Osama bin Laden and his group of nutcrackers (either the Taliban or the al-Qaeda, and I'm not sure what the difference is).

There hasn't been any proof that Saddham was involved at all. Of course, we haven't found bin Laden yet, so we can't ask him, either.

So basically what it all comes down to -- Nobody knows.

Who knows at this point. Maybe none of the above. But, best guess it was Osama bin Laden and either black ops or al-qaida or some combination of the two. I am not sure we will ever know or be convinced.
