The Granby, 120 London Road.
The Wynford Arms, 110 Kings Road.
Both are gay friendly.

The Granby is more of a nightclub, and is a mile east of the town centre.
The other place in the answer above is a pub right in the town centre (east end) and is free to get in before 9pm, and sometimes charges £2 afterwards.

Sorry, I only know the train station in Reading.
They have Bar with TV and waiting area.
