Hawaii doesn't seem to have as much strategic importance as it did 50 years ago, and there is a sizable native population that wouldn't mind reclaiming their islands. America would try to keep it, but mainly for pride's sake.

to the guy above em hawaii is 0 percent cause hawaiian would be the only reason hawaii would rebel, but white people run hawaii and hawaiians dont have special rights like indians or eskimos even though their women and land have been raped too plus the hawaiian race is dying and hanging on by the skin on its teeth.

I was not aware that the majority of the states listed wanted to.
Possibly if they wanted to pay their share of the national debt before they go?
I do wonder... What country would they join with ? Or would they be a USA#2
