iTunes can actually convert your videos to MP4.

I think its MP4. You can put movies that are already on your computer by following the following steps. Open iTunes, Click File, Click add file to library, navigate the folders until you find the movie file, double click it, it will add it to the library and automatically convert it if it is necessary.
