I am 17 years old, I have just noticed a lot of new things about me.

I don't enjoy trips with my parents anymore, but I don't mind being with my friends.

I get this feeling that I know better than my parents, which is weird for me.

I no longer prejudge a person anymore, I just see everyone as myself.

I listen to a wider ranger of musical genres

I want to be independent on everything

I don't talk to my parents as much as before

I am just confused I have never been this way before...

I think that's all part of the experience of transitioning from a child to an adult. If you have been close to your parents this can be a confusing time because you still love them but are noticing that they aren't perfect, just as nobody is perfect. You are becoming your own individual and are seeing yourself for the first time as that individual, which is a natural and a good thing.
Just remember that even though you aren't seeing eye to eye with your parents, they will still love you the same and you will still (hopefully) maintain a good relationship with them. I know I went through this with mine and I am very, very close with both of them (I'm 28 now)...at 17 though, I of course wanted to be with my friends and do my own thing. Now that they are older and I'm older and about to become a parent myself, I have a different perspective on it.
As you continue to grow, your perspective on your family/friends/individuality will continue to change. That's the way of life and it's a great thing for you :)

Well, it just sounds like you're growing up. Find another way to communicate with your parents. It's a relationship you'll have forever.
