Granted, I do have a cold. Sore throat, ears hurt, headache, stomachache. But that's been for a few days.

Today, all day long, whenever I stood up & walked around, I felt really dizzy. My mom said it's because of the crazy weather here in CT. 60 degrees today in January (which freaks me out, on a side note)!

Can that be it? Fluctuating temperatures - from 30s to 60s and back? And air pressure?

Any remedies???

Yeah weather change can cause you to become sick and/or get dizzy at times. Really hot weather can also cause you to become dizzy. Just stay hydrated and drink alot of orange juice...the vitamin C will help...and wait this out. If your stomach is naseous, suck on peppermints (they really do help)...if it's just pain ...try a heating pad and dont eat much. Maybe TheraFlu will help too...You'll feel better in due time :)

Well, it could be the warmth - I know I often get sick at the beginning of summer when it starts getting warmer, before I'm used to it. Drinking lots of water usually helps.

But it's probably your cold - it's probably affecting your inner ear and causing the dizziness. If it continues or gets really bad, see your doctor. There are pills you can take to make the dizziness go away (my doctor prescribed Antivert for me once after I apparently had an inner ear infection [I had a cold, it went away, then the world started spinning like crazy] - worked like a charm).

I've been feeling the same way. It's really annoying...when I'm laying down, I'm fine, but standing up and walking around, forget it. I was actually in the hospital it got so bad...had a whole bunch of tests done. Ended up finding nothing. It could be due to an imbalance with your ear or ear infection (especially inner ear) or as serious as having to do with a blood vessel in your brain. I would see a doc. There are remedies, which have helped me, but they are prescription drugs (Antivert or equivalent). For now, just make sure to keep drinking lots of liquids and stay hydrated...

Actually, I doubt it's the weather. It's more likely you have some fluid in your inner ear from having a cold. It can take quite a while for that fluid to work itself out, so it's not unusual to have it several days into a cold. I have this same problem from time to time and the best thing I have found to deal with it is to take a decongestant (like Sudafed) and keep my sinuses as open as possible. Make sure you can tolerate decongestants okay. They make some people become "on edge" or can increase heart rate. Good luck.
