Take a 14kt or above ring and glide it over your lipstick. If it turns black The lipstick has lead in it. Yes this is dangerous! It is even found in high dollar dept store brands you would be surprised and usually the longer the wear of the lipstick the more the lead content. Also 83% of Cosmetics today have Mineral Oil as an ingredient which is terrible! Mineral Oil is the 2nd leading cause of aging skin. You have to be careful with the brand of make up you use. Lipstick should not harm your lips, nor should eyeliner unless you have some eye sensitivity. The make up you should MOST look after is make up that you wear on your face. These make up cause blemishs, acne, break outs, rashes, burns, and can ultimately instead of making your face look prettier, look a lot more awful. Consult your physician first before wearing any make up if you have had a history with skin problems. Plus, try to avoid wearing face make up often because it closes your faces pores, and fills them with the chemicals that make up your cover up, foundation, and blush, and will create acne and blemishes on your face.

a good skin care routine can help! If you cleanse and moisturize your skin, followed with foundation that is a good complete skin care. Make up can be applied after this and just remember at the end of the day to cleanse and moisturize and you will have great skin!
Also it will not "clog" your pores if you follow a good skin care routine. I can tell you exactly how!

Not lipstick, but using lip balms like Carmex, actually dry your lips because of one of their main ingredients, camphor. Camphor is meant to dry out cold sores etc. , so you should steer clear of mentholated lip balms if you dont have cold sores or severely chapped lips.

Only if you're allergic to it.

The oil in the makeup can give you a breakout, but there is no conclusive evidence that it is harmful to you in the long run.

No make-up won't hurt your skin unless you are allergic to it. Make sure you remove all make-up before going to bed and keep your skin moisturized.
