Last week, man and woman came at my house to tell me about christanity and I asked them do you eat beef? They replied yes. And I said why? If you do then you are certainly not spritual enough to propogate your religion. Cow is sacred animal, so are other animals too. Does the christanity teach you to kill animals for your self ? CAn you not follow vegetarian diet to save animals? Would you like if someone cut you in the machine for food? Probably not. Any christian takers?

Chrisitan taker here.
There are no dietary restrictions in Christianity. A cow is as edible as a pig is as edible as an apple. You may even choose to eat only fruits and vegetables if you wish (read up on Daniel, in the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament of the Bible).
In the Old Testament, the Hebrews were instructed to sacrifice certain qualities of livestock to pay for the evil that they had done. This is no longer necessary since Jesus, the Son of God, became the ultimate sacrifice around 33 A.D.
What you're not supposed to do is to worship the animals.
You ask if I would like to be cut up for food. I would not, but that, according to the Christian doctrine, not a problem. God made Man superior to the animals. And just after the Great Flood (also in Genesis), God declared that we (who had up until that point only been allowed to eat fruit/vegetables) could also eat animals.
I hope that this helps.

Well, God put animals on this earth for humans. We are dominant over all species of animals. They are here for us. And cows are not sacred to Christians. That would be idolatry. We don't believe cows are sacred.

We eat meat because it was made by god for us to eat. animals dont have spirits. Jesus ate meat because he knew god provided it for him to have nourishment. Humans are made in gods image. not animals. No animal is sacred to us. But the lion and the lamb are symbolic.

If you have a creator God who said I give you animals and plants for your food - you have the liberty to consume them. BUT IF YOU HAVE NO GOD TO GIVE YOU THE RIGHT - OF COURSE YOU ARE GOING TO COME UP WITH SOME CUSTOMS THAT MAKE YOUR LIFE COMPLETELY RESTRICTED.

GOD CREATED AND HE GIVETH FOOD FOR HIS CREATION. HOWEVER WE ARE TOLD NOT TO TORTURE THEM. YOU COME UP WITH BELIEVES THAT ANY ANIMAL COULD BE YOUR GREAT GRANDFATHER, AND THEY CAN DO GOOD DEEDS AND BAD DEEDS - YOU HAVE RESTRICTED YOU EXISTENCE ON EARTH.

I HAVE NOT HEARD OF A TIGER GO ON DIET TO NOT KILL ( I SAY IT IS TIME YOU REASSESS YOUR BELIEVES - BELIEVE IN THE GOD WHO CAN SAVE YOU IN THIS LIFE INSTEAD OF MILLIONS OF UNKNOWABLE CYCLES IN A UNIVERSE BOUND TO COLLAPSE ONE DAY).
