I said a few days ago on Yahoo Answers that if the Chiefs establish the passing game that they would win, and if not they would lose. Why in the hell didn't the Chiefs listen to me !? They did not pass downfield for three quarters ! The Colts knew too well the ball would go to LJ. If they would have broke some long passing plays, it would have kept the Colts guessing as to what offensive play would come next. As far as I'm concerned this falls on coach Edward's head. Edwards screwed uo with the "only LJ" offensive strategy. Damn it ! Can't we Chiefs get a coach that won't choke come playoff time !?

Well what happened when Green fired long? It takes time to throw long and that's something you won't get with Booger, Freeney, and Mathis coming at you. So they get pressure, it equals a Bob Sanders pick as you saw. They also dropped a lot of passes and didn't take advantage of opportunities (a.k.a. missed 23 yard FG). Also, the Colts passing D is pretty good and the Chiefs were concerned with Bob Sanders returining. Freeney and his Line were after Green ALLLLLLLLLLLLL day. Colts knew the run was coming, they stopped it. So once the Chiefs gave up, the Colts dropped back to cover and their D-Line forced mistkaes.

Jay - The question had nothing to do with the fact that Green was kept in the game too long. How big of a fan are you when you don't know the other QBs name? The reason we didn't throw down the field has nothing to do with the QB it has to do with Herman Edwards on the sideline. I didn't want him here to begin with and I'm ready for him to leave... Maybe he'll mess up next year too when Cowher is out of his contract next year we can hire him... or give the Steelers a draft pick and sign him next year!

As far as i am concerned very poor game plan on
offense by the chiefs, An example of poor hype by the
media Indy defense cant stop the run, very bad defense
in Indy. Edwards bought it hook line and sinker The
chiefs were going to run Larry Johnson all night and get
a thousand yards..He He no contingency plan, no
offense

Do you know what I believe? This game was a fixed game. The Colts winning was an excuse to make a big controvery on next week's game (Ravens vs Colts). Call me crazy, but sports aren't only for "entertainment."

wide receivers on KC are useless. they were unable to get open all day.. the rest of the offense didn't help either. LJ couldn't even break one big run.

Trent Green made some mistakes too. this should be his last game. that concussion scrambled his brains too much. he should definitely retire..

Indy's defense was supposedly the worst, but KC made them look like all -stars.

KC needs 2 wide receivers.. you can't win when you have nobody to pass to.

I AGREE...i CAN NOT believe the KC coach kept trent green in the game ... he needs to stop being a f***ing p***y and get A BETTER QB that green... if we had the other QB in their who knows, we might've won...but w/ havin' NO 1st downs till the last part of the game, affected us SOOOO much
