I am kinda new to the ice but I have had to so what I do is lay a towel on the windshield when I get home and then in the am I lift it off.

Yeah, I live in Canada, but this year's been pretty amazing weather-wise so not as much....Yay!!
But I make my daughter so it if she wants a ride to school...She gets out there and turns the car on and turns on the heater and back window warmer and may have to scrape anyways if there hasn't been enough time before we head off.

I buy the prestone windsheild spray, it melt the ice right away..... no scraping.

not as often as i used to, not at all this year. that's the upside of global warming. the downside is we now have mosquitos carrying malaria and west nile fever in the summer.
