I love American Apparel, the '80s style is so hip and their clothes are simple so that you can use the items for many different outfits. I also really like Free People. I'm not sure if they have any Free People boutiques in Chicago, but you could probably find their clothes in Bloomingdales or Saks if you're near a high end department store of something like that. It's hippie-chic style, really pretty and so unique. I'm also a die-hard Alice + Olivia fan. I have a bunch of really cute tops and I am bombarded with compliments every time I wear a something from them. You can also find them in the same stores as Free People. Hope this helps you out!

I like Target for Hello Kitty for my daughter. I mostly shop at WalMart, although they are terrible at customer service and they are beginning to make me feel like I owe them. I shop there coz theyre open 24 hours, and I shop late because of work hours. I love Sears, they have great stuff (Craftsmen tools, lifetime guarantee), good sales, and their policy for their military personnel is the best in the country. My 11 year old daughter LOVES Kmarts jeans, and theyre rarely over $15.00.
