B-Complex does help with stress and stress also depletes your body of B vitamins. B vitamins feed the nerves and have a profound effect on mental and emotional stability. It's important to seek out an all natural B-Complex with no aritifical additives. When it comes to vitamins and supplements, you really do get what you pay for.

Also, all natural Stress Relief Complex may be helpful. It promotes relaxation without drowsiness, enhances the body's ability to adapt to continuing stress, helps reduce the effects of everyday stress by blunting the cortisol response to stress, and helps make norepinephrine which is involved in mood regulation.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions or the website.

No one can answer that question. Vitamin supplements don't give you stress or get rid of stress. That's not what vitamins do. Are you talking about physical, emotional, or mental stress? Are you talking about stress to plants, animals or buildings? Vitamins won't work in cars either. But I once knew a hamster who liked vitamins. It would make that wheels spin twice as fast with his little feet. It was quite amazing to see. The saw dust in the cage would act like a tornado every time he got on the spinning wheel. Ok I've been silly long enough. Try thinking about what your saying the next time.

You may get some answers but the only supplements that work will have active ingredients, AKA Drugs. You might want to consider some lifestyle change instead of a "magic pill" More exercise, no caffine, more time off etc. One of the herbs that can work is Kava but I don't recommend herbal depressants as stress relief.

For sleep or just to calm you during the day?
5HTP on an empty stomach is essentially tryptophan - the same stuff that makes you sleepy after the turkey dinner. St. John's Wort is an old timey anti depressant that really does work but causes photo-sensitivity - wear sun glasses and don't sunbathe while on it. Also can render birth control pills inaffective - so you could get pregnant. And a subllingual B-12 B complex
Ginseng, Suntheanine or L-Theanine, Gaba, and for sleep, Melatonin and Valerian root. I find essential oils to be better -Lavender helps.

B vitamins give you energy...they do nothing for stress.

Like JR said, instead of looking for a magic pill, make some life changes.

Go for a run. That takes my stress away immediately.
