they are ignorant. come on intellectual people are not superior then anyone are any diffrent. i mean they can dress nice and all why do people think that being a geek has to do with intelectual

because it used to be a term to make fun of them and it's much more impowering to imprace the word instead of trying to run from it.
it's like the n-word...NERD (what word did you think I was talking about?)
take control of it and the bullies wont be able to hurt you as much when they call you one or you could stop them from calling you one at all (but wish that they could use the word)
