It means that woman that prefer that kind of man are insecure about themselves. I talk for experience. I had a loud, insecure, abusive and unfaithful bad boy in my life but after all it came this healthy, confident and well-adjusted man and now Im the happiest girl in life.
Let me tell you it took me a lot of time to realize that I need a change in my life but I was weak... maybe you are dealing with a weak and insecure girl. Maybe you have to show more power... sometimes ignoring the person have results.

Most women do not hate the good guys...maybe you are looking for the wrong kind of woman. If you are a healthy, confident, well-adjusted man then you should seek the same kind of woman. Usually well-adjusted, healthy and confident women do not want drama either. Not trying to be mean, but sit down and write a journal of the last...say ten women you dated...Then look for a woman that has completley different qualities. Good luck.

Mike... you're right. Women, especially young women like the bad boys because they can live vicariously through them and it's exciting. It's like some sort of rush. First it's because you're a teen and your parents hate them. That makes them awesome!
Then you're a young woman and you've always been smart and cautious and good and what has that gotten you?? Nothing exciting because guys just want the blondes with big boobs at that point and the cheerleaders before that and no one wants a gal with brains and four eyes.
At some point, it all catches up. Usually somewhere between 35 and 40.... sometimes earlier if you're lucky. At that point, men realize that blondes with big boobs are not that interesting and they crave more... they want conversation and stimulation of a different type along with the physical that they considered to be a priority for so long.
Women have come to realize that men who offer excitement rarely offer stability so if they want to have a LIFE instead of a DATE, they need to choose differently.
When I was very young, I dated the snakes in black leather who rode motorcycles and ticked off my parents by wearing a bandanna to dinner and offering me a joint before sex.
As I got older, I craved the smart guys... the high IQ, I Wear A Suit To Work UVA lawyers and computer geeks who single parented their children primarily and had proven they were stable, responsible, intelligent and still carried an incredible sense of humor along with their laptop and briefcase. They had cars and houses and pets and gardens instead of motorcycles and beer pong equipment.
Niles from Frasier? Totally hot to me. Smart and funny and just nerdy enough to be caught off guard by a gal thinking he's hot. Perfection.
As I got older, I no longer craved drama and wondered why I'd ever wanted that to begin with.
Stay with it. When you're in it for the long haul you will find a woman who will see you for who you are and appreciate that because SHE'S finally matured enough to know what's valuable in a partner.
I got off the roller coaster and married a great guy who's got stability written all over him. You'll find a gal who will be that for you as well and it will have been worth the wait... I promise :)

They love the bad boy cause it goes back to the caveman days where the man kills and buts boot -to-***..this makes women feel that a man can take care of her and defend his family if need be. Most women like being treated bad becasue that all they know. They where either abused and /or raped when they were little...this makes them think they can't do any better and they become seriously insecure and depressed of who they are.

Women don't have hatred for the good guys. Many women adore 'nice guys'. In fact, I can personally attest, that I as a woman, loathe and stay far away from 'bad boys' because they are bad news...I am quite content with my nice guy. if you are healthy, confident, and well-adjusted as you say you are, you might want to get involved with a broader scope of women, for most (healthy, well-adjusted)women would consider you a catch...good luck!

That comes usually with attractiveness. So many people have told them they are hot and all that it goes to their head and spoils their charater. Guys who are good don't let this happen and they can be good looking or plain. Unfortunately most girls are looking for a "hot" guy not a good one. This is contributing to the degradation of society. What they are lookin for is a strong man who knows what he wants and exudes confidence but I think they are mistaking ********* for confidence. This "attitude" thing in in vogue for the tenty year set that is like "I am all that and a bag of chips you can't touch this and you owe me" The downfall is they have alot of fly by night sex but no real relationship and in the end they end up with at best a disfunctional relationship or at worst a single parent who is lonely and smacked in the face with reality.

It all depends on the women. Me I really can't stand men that are bad boys or trying to be. I like men that are confident and funny and that don't provide a lot of drama. Someone will scoop you up you sound very cool.

I don't think that is fair to say about ALL women, but the ones who are attracted to losers probably possess some of the same charaterisitcs.
People are usually drawn to what they feel comfortable with, and unfortunately those women with low-self esteem attract men that are the same way.
Be patient you'll catch a good one.
