It may still work, you should immediately remove the battery and let it dry thoroughly (a few days to a week depending upon the humidity where you live).. then put the battery back in and try it...
If you have turned it on since it got wet.. you chances of it still working are worse than if you have not tried to use it.

Take the battery out, take it apart as much as possible and leave it to dry out.
With a bit of luck it will work when dried out just leave the batter out as long as possible to be sure there is no water inside.
I've dropped a mobile in the bath before and it ended up fine.

It should. My cell phone went through a whole cycle in the washing machine and it still works fine. Be sure to take the battery out of your phone and open it up so as to let it dry. Occasionally, put the battery in when it looks dry enough and see if it will turn on. Just keep letting it dry and it should be right as rain in no time. It only took mine about a day to dry. Hopefully this helps.

I was told that you leave your radiators on HOT for 24 hours. get a towl and fold it in half and put it on your radiator. take the battery out of your phone, the sim, and if possible your phone fascia. turn the phone over 12 hours. i know people who said they dropped a nokia in the loo, and followed that and it worked, but that was on normal black and white phones a long time ago. not sure on the colour ones.
also, i followed it and it didnt work, it just killed my screen. but either way you'd be buying a new phone if it didnt work so it is worth a risk.
good luck
(and if you're in the UK make you're next phone a Sony Ericsson w810i in black on 02 pay and go. £150 from phones4u. fab phones)

It might, but prob not, daft thing is often depends on what else was in water, just like coffee will damage and laptop and sugary coffee will kill it, same happens with mobiles - tho a friend dropped his somewhere far worse and it still worked, tho no-one else would touch it!
whatever you do, get the SIM card out quick, back it up if you can and get the phone dry in airing cupboard and deffo follow advice to switch it off until dry
hope it works for you

Probably not - I dropped mine in a cup of coffee and it never worked again. If it went off whilst it was in the bath it's probably bust. Turn it off, remove the battery and leave for at least 24 hours (preferably in your airing cupboard or somewhere else nice and warm). If it doesn't work after that - it isn't going to.

it might. wait until at least like 1 day or so. once my friend did that and her phone worked. not as well as before. but if it is an old phone i would take the opportunity to get a new one.
but i would give it a try. i can't hurt. just be sure everything is dry especially inside.

Bummer...take it apart and let it dry thoroughly. You can buy electronics cleaner and that may help.
If you phone has a warranty, I would see if you could get it replaced.
Good luck....Oh, most cell phones have a plate that changes color when it gets wet, so the warranty may not work for you...but if you have an insurance policy, it might.

Ignore all the above. Dry it as best you can with a soft tissue, and then put it in the airing cupboard for 24 hours. Should work perfectly
