Where is the best place to live in CA in terms of rent cost, jobs, life cost, safe and nice place?

I just moved to Northern California North of Reno and I like it here but it's a lot colder.

I live in Napa, Ca. It's too beautiful for words.
If you go on line and look at the real estate site,
it can tell you every thing you need to know.
The prices on everything and the crime rates and
how good the schools are. Type in any city you
think you might be interested in. Good Luck

San Diego or interior sight l. a. Mesa, El Cajon, nationwide city, Santee, or the sea coast cities in San Diego section. verify Mapquest for section area orientation or Yahoo maps. large climate. Mountains and desolate tract a million.5 hourschronic. expressway site visitors is heavy yet neighboring cities/cities nicely linked.

I would say Sacramento...its still reasonable as far as housing and rent, you can find a job, the weather is great, although it gets pretty hot in the summer. Its cheaper than the Bay Area.
