It's vital that you appear confident and professional. Look your best and project an enthusiasm for the job. Know everything about the director, company, charater, show...do your research!

It's very much like an interview in the real world.

I agree that they're usually looking for your potential...can you BE what they need you to be. Do you have the spark that they want the role to possess. Will you follow their direction, and that sort of thing.

Also, be sure you speak clearly and are easy to hear...but don't feel the need to "project"...inside normal voices are fine, but please don't mumble.

And NEVER question the person at the front desk! Just do what he/she says...I promise they're there to help you! :)

Definitely Jeepers Creepers 1&2 In Dreams Shredder (not as gory as it sounds) Taking Lives Saw 1&2 Final Destination 1&2 (these may be a bit too gory) Silence of The Lambs Hannibal Howling V :The Rebirth Don't Say a Word What Lies Beneath Boogeyman To Love, Honor, and Decieve Apointment for a Killing Hatchetman House of Spirits Seventh Sign There are so many more I can't think of right now...

When auditioning you need to project an air of self-confidence,
warmth, intelligence and look people in the eye. Be sure of yourself and whatever you do don't act nervous. Put on a smile, and just be yourself.
I auditioned for a voice-over part for an industrial film and wanted that part so much. When I met the people involved in hiring for the project I just looked them in the eye, smiled, read for them and got the part. If you really want something it can happen for you just don't be too aggressive. Dress simply, light makeup, stand tall, speak clearly. Good Luck to you!

I was told that your audition begins the moment you walk in the door. Casting directors are checking you out from the moment you say hello. A really REALLY good book to read is "Acting Professionally" by Robert Cohen. I had to read it my freshman year of drama school....it gives a lot of good points.

i'm not sure about, but what i know is the first round audition, what the most they want is protencial, you have to show them you are confidence, and never give up.
