yes, it's a blood thinner. Early on in pregnancy it can be linked to miscarriages. While it's highly unlikely that taking a single dose of aspirin in early or mid-pregnancy will have a harmful affect, the drug can cause problems for both you and your baby if you take it regularly in normal adult doses while you're pregnant. That being said, my OB let me take asprin during the middle part of my pregnancy for migraines. She thought it safer than other drugs. Without medicine, my migraines would cause me to vomit all night, get dehydrated, and cause me to need an IV. In my case, asprin was better than the alternative. Best of luck to you.

Aspirin is used for heart patients-it is an anticoagulant(blood thinner) Aspirin also inhibits labor.
Your Ob should have given you a list of medications that are safe during pregnancy. Tylenol(acetameniphen) products are ok and won't hurt your baby or you.

Yes. Aspirin can cause problems in pregnancy no matter what stage you are in (unless you have a clotting disorder that would require you to take a baby aspirin in early pg).

Tylenol is the safest pain reliever during pregnancy.

Read this link.. it explains it well.

Asprin is a blood thinner... don't take it without doctor recommendation... stick to Tylenol for now.

yes-it does.
asprin causes internal bleeding, which can cause harm to your uterine lining and the growing placenta.
it causes more damage during pregnancy because of your body changing to accomodate a growing fetus/baby
if you need to take something for pain--take tylenol & contact your doctor if the tylenol isnt working.

Yes. Aspirin should not be taken during pregnancy. Paracetamol is the only safe recommended pain killer for pregnant women. Always consult your pharmacist when purchasing pain killers and let them know you are pregnant and ask if its safe.

Do not take aspirin while you are pregnant. It thins your blood and if you have complications such as requiring a cesearean section or placenta previa or anything bleeds, an aspirin will almost make you bleed to death.

I always have been under the impression it can. To be sure, before taking any medication, over the counter or prescription, ask your doctor.
