Have you tried the Mr. Clean Magic eraser? I swear it takes everything off. I have taken Sharpie marker pen marks off with it.....Good Luck

Part of the answer lies in learning what the dusting powder is made of.

Most fingerprint powder uses a highly ground carbon based dust that adheres to the light oil that your body exudes and you deposit when you touch something.

Think of this stuff as simply SOOT.. which, if you have tried to clean you know as a rather hard cleaner.

Ammonia (windex) will sometimes do it, or 409 cleaner.

Do not use ANYTHING abrasive (comet, ajax, steel wool, even the scotch pads) on painted surfaces. You will microscopically scar the surface of the paint and the result is a permanently dull paint finish. You should not be SCRUBBING as much as simply wiping.

Try the different cleaners in small amounts on an area where, should it be too strong for the paint, the resulting stain will not show.

Work your way up to kerosene (not gas or thinners which will likely damage your car). Somewhere along the way you will find something that cuts it. After you remove the soot.. then wash the entire car with a good dish soap to get rid of the solvent.

that should end the problem.. meantime as Mr. Niagi would say:

Wax on.... Wax off..

you're still gonna have to scrub it, If you use a scotch pad with some warm soap and water it will work very well. The starands in the scotch pad will reach into the texture of the car interior surfaces and pull all the dirt out very easilly. This will save a ton of time and give you more than proffessional results.
