there are many options on what you are looking for.......your first option is go to the library and look books up and find your answer there, second option is go to dressmakers or some op shops and ask the people there for some ideas of how there parents or grandparents used to dress in the 50's your last option is go to the interenet and find out that way..........hope this answer helps you...goodluck
