Over 2 decades ago ... ended up in a short disaster of a marriage ... had two children (both disabled), had to purchase my way out of that disaster of a marriage, and was a LONG TERM Responsible Single Parent. As such, luxuries (like vacations) were given up to make sure that the children were cared for.

In November I went to a wedding in California. Wasn't really a vacation, it was a family thing but it was still a nice break. The last major trip I had was to London, England in March of 06.
