Unfortunately, I've read that verizon has locked up some of these features. But your not out of luck. Download BitPim.
BitPim is a program that allows you to view and manipulate data on cell phones. This includes your PhoneBook, Calendar, WallPapers and RingTones.
BitPim runs on Windows, Linux and Mac.
You will need a cable that plugs into your computer and into the cellphone. Download BitPim at http://www.bitpim.org

OMG I just had this same problem but I figured it out. All you have to do is add your email to one of your contacts. Like a added my email address to my sister space in my contact list. Then you have to go like you are sending another pix-flix message to another phone, but go down to yuor email. Then the message screen will show up and just do it like normal. The message will appear in your email inbox in about 5 minutes. My phone is almost the same as yours its a vzw #a-930, so I think it should work
