The mouthpiece does not make you sound like the professional, you do. You have to learn to create a good tone. A mouthpiece does help, but you can do that same sound with the basic mouthpiece that comes with your saxophone. Also, you may consider something expensive, but the value you get from it may be worth more than the money you spent. If you insist on getting a new mouthpiece go to your local music store(s) and try as many different mouthpieces as possible on your horn until you find one that you like, and then see if you can afford it. You may find one for $50 that works for you, or you may find one that is $150 that you like and need to save up for.
