Well, this question seems to be popping up a lot but here are my circumstances. When I was 15 I had my ovary taken out due to a cyst. I have then been on numerous types of BC pills. Well, my doctor put my on a new one, but I have been missing a lot of the pills, then doubling up the next day. Anyway, I am 10 days late and I know that sometimes a new pill will cause a missed period but I have been on a lot of new ones and have never missed a period. my boobs hurt, i have been a little moody (i cried at a kleenex commercial) I have had some slight cramping over the past week, and i am very tired. I took a test first thing wednesday morning but it came up negative. i know those tests dont always work as well, so i called my Dr and he said to start a new pack but i am scared to just in case. O and I dont use condoms or anything either just bc. any and all input appreciated.

I would go visit your Dr. I would take a pregnacy test at your Dr. It is even more accurate than those boxed pregnacy tests. Then talk to the Dr...while you are there about the possible easier methods of Birth Control..I know BC pills are a pain...maybe try the Deprovera Shot...instead..and if you are pregnant then talk to your Dr. about taking care of yourself and the baby.

This might depend on the pill you're currently taking. Some ingredients (for lack of a better word here) Some which are progestin-only can cause a list of weird issues if you're not used to them. And it may very well be your body is just really confused with the new medications & schedule (or lack thereof).
If you were to take another pack per your Dr's instructions and happen to find out in a week or 2 that you actually ARE pregnant, it's not a bad thing. Really it's not. You would just stop immediately once you were confirmed positive.

Your symptoms sound a lot like early pregnancy. But then again, they sound like PMS too.

Take another pregnancy test before you start the pills! 3 or 4 days can make a big difference in hormone levels. If you feel like there is a possibility you might be pregnant, do NOT take bc pills. Even if this test comes back negative I'd wait a few more days and take another before you start the pills. In the meantime use a condom or abstain.

Try not to miss any more pills. Yes sometimes a new birth control pill will cause your periods to be out of wack for a few months.
I would wait 4 more days if you did not get your period by than call your doctors office back. I would be completely honest with them and tell them how you have missed some and are doubling up. Tell them that you want a blood pregnancy test because you are 2 weeks late for your period
