Although the Nintendo Wii is incredibly better, PS3's are mostly in stock online. Definately try electronic stores websites.

I got my Nintendo Wii a couple of wks after it came out. It was really difficult, but how I got it was calling every single day, asking their shipment, and confirming the shipment time and date with the store manager. That worked just fine for me, it should work for you too.

I've been to Wal-Mart a few times and they usually have five in stock. Best Buy has a couple too, most of the time.

Go to http://linkachi.com/?vpm , type in your Zip Code, and it'll tell you what stores in your area are getting the PS3 and approx. when!
